Dennis joined TakeOut Comedy in January 2009, and after just a few open mic sessions he became a regular performer in February of the same year. He’s been with us ever since, and we can’t seem to get rid of him.
Since then he has performed in a charity show for the Rotary Club, opened for Kerri Louise and Paul Ogata, made it to the finals of the 2009 Hong Kong International Comedy Festival.In 2010 Dennis was able to perform outside of Hong Kong, with a performance in his native language German in Berlin and teaming up with fellow TakeOut Comedy comedians to set up a show at the Nigi Nigi Bar on Boracay Island, Philippines. He again had a good run during the 2010 Hong Kong International Comedy Festival, placing 3rd in the preliminary round.
2011 saw Dennis rise to new heights with him headlining shows on several occasions, celebrating his 2nd anniversary of doing stand-up comedy in style with a strong performance in February, performing in TakeOut Comedy All Stars shows, at a show at Fat Angelo’s and once again opening for Paul Ogata in May.
