
New York City’s number one comedian. Born in Springfield, Massachusetts. After College, Wali was working on being the best Architect New England has ever known. But the calling for show business was too strong. Always having a keen sense of humor, his parents urged him to try stand-up comedy. His first time on stage Wali was convinced that he had bombed, but the manager paid him and asked him to come back every week as a featured act. Wali Collins has been going strong ever since. He was nominated three years in a row as “College Campus Entertainer of the Year”.
Wali’s television stand-up credits include various appearances on HBO, ABC, NBC, CBS, and VH1. He was the host of Comedy Central’s “Stand-up Stand-up” and performed on the “Late Show with David Letterman.” His acting credits span a range of television and film projects, including a lead role in the independent films, “Claire Makes It Big” and the award winning “Maybe Means No” and host of the PBS special, “Wild TV.”
Wali has also emerged as a sought after corporate event host for companies like Johnson & Johnson, L’Oreal, Subway, FedEx and Game Stop. Recently hosted events which speakers included Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, First Lady Michelle Obama and President Obama. Always true to his first love, Wali continues to headline comedy clubs all over the USA and parts of Europe and Asia.
